Everest Kanto Cylinders and NISDAR organized awareness campaigns on the use of sustainable sanitary napkins among adolescent girls and women to promote menstrual health, hygiene, and environmental protection. During the program, sustainable sanitary napkins were distributed to school-going adolescents to create awareness about menstrual hygiene and the importance of physical well-being.
The campaign highlighted the benefits of eco-friendly menstrual products, such as biodegradable sanitary napkins, which are safe, cost-effective, and environmentally sustainable alternatives to plastic-based sanitary pads. The initiative also focused on educating girls and women about proper menstrual hygiene practices to reduce health risks, break social taboos, and build confidence.
Such awareness programs play an important role in encouraging healthy habits, reducing environmental waste, and supporting the well-being and empowerment of women in society.

NISDAR organized training programmes in Sewing Machine Operator and Self-Employed Tailor courses at Gandhinagar( Gujarat), Tarapur(Maharashtra), and Taloja( Navi Mumbai), with the objective of enhancing skills for sustainable livelihood generation. These programmes were financially supported by EKC Ltd and IG Petrochemicals. Through these initiatives, participants have secured opportunities in formal employment, entrepreneurships, and participating in Self-Help Groups (SHGs). These programmes have significantly contributed to improving the economic condition of women by enabling them to support their families financially, while also enhancing their confidence, dignity, and social standing within their communities.
