Dr Paramananda Nayak

Dr Paramananda Nayak brings a distinguished career in the Indian Statistical Services and senior roles across multiple Government of India ministries. As former CEO of the Textiles Committee, Ministry of Textiles, his leadership has significantly shaped India’s textile policy landscape. His core expertise lies in trade competitiveness in textiles and clothing, particularly the impact of tariffs and non-tariff measures — a focus that complements our vision of a sustainable and inclusive textile industry, alongside his deep commitment to broader societal development.
With a strong focus on women-led initiatives and ecological responsibility, Dr Nayak has consistently championed inclusive development. His association with the Centre for Development Research, Bhubaneswar, and his role on the Advisory Board of the Inter Commonwealth SME Association (ICSA), Commonwealth Secretariat, London, highlight his global engagement and commitment to sustainable growth.
